Committed to Biodiversity and Heritage
As part of the “Plan de Monitoreo y Restauración de Biodiversidad†(Monitoring Biodiversity Restoration Plan), along with university specialists and independent environment advisers, we have finished surveying the flora and fauna baseline, and have preserved seeds from 19 native species in our areas that we carried out assisted replanting projects with. We have also transplanted more than 5,000 plants near the wells, in an effort to balance the ecosystems.

139 trees planted in Catriel
We planted 139 trees on the bicycle lane Catriel is building with our support. The species were acquired at the Pensamiento Nativo Plant Nursery, which belongs to the Familia Foundation. This foundation works with young people from Neuquén to prevent school dropouts and generate agricultural projects linked to social and solidarity economy.

Driven by protecting the environment from day one
We manage our operation at Vaca Muerta with a sustainable approach. At Bajada del Palo Oeste, we optimize our last-mile sand logistics by using sandboxes for transportation and silo bags for storage. Also, we transport 100% of our hydrocarbon and produced water in pipelines and flexible pipes, reducing the carbon footprint associated with trucking.
